A draw maybe? A better substitution than Kranjcar, when we had Zarate on the bench and their defence was creaking? I think there are a few things more we could ask for. And they weren't a 'vastly superior side', were they? Bang average.

Yeah we deserved a draw, im not denying that. But isnt what everyone has cried out for to see a performance? That was a good one. We didnt get what we deserved, at least a point, but thats life. Against teams like Utd, anything is a bonus.

Agree, they gave all their all. One of our best games of the season.

And that's why things desperately need changing IMO.

One of our best games of the season was losing at home to a team having a stinker. And with very little sign that we could get anything, even if we had a second gear/different tactics to apply.

Especially when we need every single point we can get at home, as we don't even try to win away from home, and even then are incapable of getting a single point as we set out to.

But yes, we were not as bad as we might have been today.

Lets leave things as they are and hope for the best.

Thought we were ok but never looked like scoring. Disagreed with playing Bobby, he done alright to be fair but it's not working and hasn't since Villa.

Thought it was an even game, despite their possession domination, up until they scored. Fer sleeping/lazy at fault but he's not a winger. I thought that took the wind out of us and we didn't really get a grip on the game after that.

Not happy with the Kranjcar substitution, I've seen milk turn quicker and we needed Zarate to be buzzing round causing problems. Adel was brought on too late and then in the wrong position. Personally I would have took Zamora off earlier for Adel and played him as a number 10 and Fer off for Zarate and played a 4231.

Thought everyone played alright, Nedum and Henry our best performers, particularly the latter.

Thought United were rotten and hugely disappointing to have been beaten but I can accept it.

Today summed up what we need, fresh ideas!

KuPR, maybe we made them having a stinker? I honestly believe so. Man Utd is 4th in the table and how many of our players would get into their starting 11? None.

If you're happy with that performance, in the context of the season as a whole, then more power to you.

You'll likely be far less despondent about the season and our prospects than I currently am.

I'm happy with the performance, not the result. Just hope we would play like that every game.

Our passing today was best I have seen this season.

Agreed. But the thing is, we keep looking like we're about to turn a corner, but then we don't. It feels like a balloon that wants to rise but something's holding it back. What is it?

I think with that performance Harry's subs was statement to the board that we need help if we are to stay up

What game did you watch? I've seen numerous comments now and none make sense.

Did we make 5 passes today? Not that I can remember! First half between Barton, Isla and Vargas was the only time and that was it. I've never seen us have so little possession at home!

I don't think that was Harry's usual 'bare bones' tactics at this time of year.

Not even vaguely convincing when there is a striker on the bench tbh, think that was just a misjudgement in the decision.
