If I was him, I'd just sign it now. Bag the 60k/week now, if we go down in the summer he will leave either way.

Can't be blamed tbh. Things never looked settled at QPR.

If correct I see nothing wrong, I would do the same in his position!

why would any player want to commit to QPR at the moment?.... just broke a very unwanted record and it looks like we're be getting a new manager soon. Wait until summer, then 1st of all see what league we're in then secondly see who the new manager is!!..... Dont blame Austin 1 little bit!!

I love Charlie but im not going to be as forgiving as some and say the guy is now playing us knowing fine well he will be able to leave in 12months and pocket a huge sum of money. We have slammed other players for mugging the club off and this is the early stages of Charlie doing the same

TF is a decent chap and im sure if he extended he could do a deal with TF were as if the right club offers the right deal then he can go so everyone wins.

He's work his way up from the non league. I like him and wouldn't expect him to play for QPR again in the championship. I got a funny feeling charlie will end up at Southampton one day.

Sounds lovely mate but clubs don't deal with players, that's why the have agents. Good cop bad cop.

Charlie will do what 99.9% of other players do, what's good for him.

The bloke was working on building sites up until only a few years back and is now being touted for england-he didn't come up through the ranks like most other players to become an instant millionaire. Imo greed doesn't come into this like it could with others and he will rightly sit down and take his time-who wouldn't honestly do the same?

Wow, people will really switch on a player who wants to be at the best possible position in his career. Just remember who he is and where he came from. There is no way he is going to mug us off. He wants to play prem football, he isn't a mercenary or anything like that. If I was him I would give the club a guarantee of an extension should we remain in the prem. Gives everyone more incentive to stay up.

I don't really understand what the problem is. If Charlie signed a new contract, we could sell him for the full market rate and not get ripped off. Charlie could still jump ship at the end of the season if we go down.
Just do QPR a favour and sign the damn contract.
