Stopping The Messageboard Wars

Enough is enough.

I don't know, why it happens but its about time we distanced ourselves from the petty squabbling between fans.

Any links to other web-sites will stop and I will aks our moderators to take them down if they appear. I cannot stop other posters posting on other sites and nor do I want to. The last thing genuine fans want is to see this constant arguing. I have been both victim and and accuser in the past, it simply does no-one any good. I have stopped posting on one particular site and will now stop on another.

If other board members want to get personal with users of this site, thats up to them, but we have grown alot over the last 12-18 months and we put alot of hard work in to making this a genuinely good site. I am just to blame as anyone else, but normally its just purely defending accusations or defending certain people, but when the team are doing well on the pitch, it just seems we need something to argue about?

Just to re-iterate any more links to other QPR boards will be the removed and I'd ask for other boards to stop making reference to this site. I would also ask them to stop making references to individuals on this site. Fans can decide what sites they visit and don't particular want us to have cyber wars in- fighting.

Great shout mate, but again...I fear this will fall upon deaf ears. We know where we want to be, so let's keep out of it. Unfortunately we cannot speak for all posters, but those of us who can't stand the board wars can do by keeping out of it themselves.
