    Apparently he was on a contract that dramatically improved if he played regularly and/or achieved certain milestones (like an international cap etc). Clever from West Ham that, in theory it should be an incentive for the player to keep working hard and also protects the club against paying top dollar for someone who under-achieves and doesn't play regularly.     Sky saying he's in dispute with them over a months wages of £60,000 which they say they've deducted for club fines.

    Would of thought he'd be on a lot more than £15k a week.

    I'd take Ravel, he's probably the most talented British player of his age group. Yes he's got his issues, but we wouldn't get a look in if he didn't.

    Having said that I would much rather he went to Spain/Italy/Holland/Germany and improved than came here and stagnated.
