Put him on a similar deal to the one he had at West Ham, Niko is constantly injuredand a loan, Zarate is on loan, Adele will be gone, Mutch and Fer are more CM than a number 10 which I suspect would be the perfect position for Ravel.

If we can shift SWP Phillips Adel Hoilet Traore or any 3 of those then 6 month deal on thse sort of Greengages could be good biz

More to the point, why bother when he's clearly a liability and not got the right attitude or mindset to make the most of his talent.

Apparently he was on a contract that dramatically improved if he played regularly and/or achieved certain milestones (like an international cap etc). Clever from West Ham that, in theory it should be an incentive for the player to keep working hard and also protects the club against paying top dollar for someone who under-achieves and doesn't play regularly. Phil Beard could learn a lot!

I'd take Ravel, he's probably the most talented British player of his age group. Yes he's got his issues, but we wouldn't get a look in if he didn't.

Having said that I would much rather he went to Spain/Italy/Holland/Germany and improved than came here and stagnated.
