Could be. Or could it be he is already covering himself?

When it comes to Harry's excuses I feel just like him - tired and disinterested.
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Yes he has given up just as he did when he took over and gave up stating he needs to add more quality to the squad - just the right thing to say to give the players the lift they so desperately needed....not.

Will resort to what he does best. Signing old players he's worked with before. It's what he's known for.

I said it before and say it again, he should have retired aftet the play off final.
He came to keep QPR in the Premiership and failed but did the next best thing in winning promotiln at the 1st attempt - job done. There was no need to stay on just to relegate the club again, which is almost certainly going to happen if he stays. WBA and Palace will now both climb above QPR and stay up. Its whether QPR can catch up any of the other teams.

Only if they are available on loan or free transfers which leaves very little options.

they still lost though, that is what the guy was banging on about qpr being the only prem team to lose this week end.
