    Jay Simpson

Do we sign him after doing so well. 3 goals in 4 league games and that is the best we have had for a long time. He has earnt the respect of many fans and deserves better than being thrown around the country.

I suppose that is all down to a.) whether the board want him permanently and b.) whether Arsene Wenger wants to let him go!

He seems to be our top scorer in the league and our only scoring striker.

Too early yet but IMHO he's a great prospect. Fantastic close control, especially when under pressure..he's a tough cookie.

Stuff FUlham they need to get out of their tin can of a stadium and find so good players and not from us. If they want to get players then get them from the youth.

Yes, he's proving to have a good temperament, he's quick, strong & skillfull.

Along with Watson & Heaton well worth investing in.

Sign him. He is worth the money and better than Blackstock. I saw some highlights. He covers the ball and wins possession.

Unfortunately I think it will be a case of if he continues to do well Arsenal will either not sell him or we won't be able to afford him.

Would prefer it if out board didn't make a snap judgement and pay over the odds, if he continues his good form up until xmas than perhaps a fee should be set for the summer transfer window.

How come we cannot afford him and we paid excessive money for unproven Faurlin?

The fee for Faurlin cost less than a £1m. The other £2½m is salary which makes it seem that we've spent £3.5m so that the fans go out and buy STs.

If we weren't prepared to pay £1.9m for Cox will we pay this sort of amount for Simpson? How much is he worth?

I'm sure i read the Faurlin transfer included a lot of future add ons.

I don't think we paid out the reported 3.5 million in one lump.

Does anyone know the details of the transfer?
