We need to help Charlie, let us have a competition to invent a better pastime for him, the best entries will be shortlised and sent to him, he will select one and the winning author will get some prize maybe. Let me get the ball rolling for Charlie, no pun intented. My suggestion is: read and memorise all Harry Poter novels for recital to teammates. Not easy but surely a noble undertaking.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

I second the motion. We need to create a support group for talented and successful premier league footballers who's careers have been ruined by horses. Any applicants? Any?

Let us spread the word. The only world I want my kids to grow up in is one without evil horses.

Perhaps when Charlie walks down SAR before the game Saturday he might suddenly jump up on one of those police horses and gallop to the players/staff entrance. Should perk him up no end

I know we don't have the right manager to give him some friendly advice but I'd much rather he played golf or choose a different hobbie. All he talks about is horse racing and for me it is becoming a unhealthy obsession.
if he's got any tips weare put them on the board please!

If you are into that, then it is too late for you. The horses are at least living creatures that you can feel affection for, but those cold unfeeling lottery balls just send shivers down your spine...
