good player, still learning..the "capt" needs to pull him aside and advise him whats best for the team....the boos were after his gesture, before it was a mass groan of disappointment....stiil BLAME US AS ALWAYS..the team played very well, a great confidence boosting win...let's move on.

The question is, what reason would he have to gesture to the crowd ?, if it was not a reaction to the criticism from the crowd. Clearly it was a response to the booing.

I just think the whole thing is very sad.
He's still learning and needs someone older and wiser to take him in hand and get through to him that he needs to pass more readily (I actually feel he has been a bit better in that respect) and to teach him how to cope better with the inevitable groans that all players get from the crowd from time to time.
He doesn't need booing.

It all started after Tarbat gestured to the crowd. Pete, you sit in the corner so maybe your view is distorted. I clearly saw it as it was right infront of me. I am right behind the goal at the front in the upper Loft.

So after trying to score and help QPR win the game, and there defender did what he was paid to do... stop Trabbat from scoring...

He then decided to swear at the fans....

WHAT RUBBISH...... if he did geature then i am sure he had reason....(Maybe its because our so called fans geering at the player)

Cant wait for the moaning to start, when we dont have any attacking flare because we have abused our own players and he decides to go back to the lane.

Is it any wonder we dont get any recognised "BIG" names...

and people moaned at the player of the year dooo becuase the players all left early...

How bizzare - I also sit right in the middle of the upper loft - second row from the front and agree 100% with Pete's version of events. I suppose we all hear and see different things really. Fact is though, he should have passed to Buzz, when he didn't the crowd reaction ought to have been one of frustration rather than poison but sadly that's what we've been getting of late.

The lad is so skillful but obviously frustrating, I'd rather watch him than Pellicori but wouldn't boo either - or any of them for that matter.

He definitely gesticulated to the crowd AFTER the groans. The booing only started then. Definite difference and time lapse between the groans and boos.

If he'd passed the thing in the first place (as the unmarked Buzsaky was screaming at him to do) wouldn't have happened!

It is however a concern for me as to how quick we can jump on a players back.

For me, the interesting part starts now.Our next home game.How will he react and how will the fans react?Time for Jim to do a bit of man management.However, i can see some fans not forgiving him and could continue thier bad feelings towards.He is obviously highly strung, young and reacts quickly.He is also a very good player.

I would like fans to just forget whats happened and move on - cant see it happening with some of our fans though !

Don't care about what the reason is you do not boo your own team. It happened last year at home to Ipswitch and mahon wasn't affected. ok he was at fault for the goal but our team needs iour support if we are to go up at the end of the year.

Yep.
Putting the booing aside for a minute - which was WRONG. Everyone surely realises that does no good to anyone.

The thing with him is, he is a far more talented player than almost anyone in this division, never mind at QPR... and certainly the player who's keeping him out right now - Rowan Vine (who I am a fan of).

Yet he can't nail down a 90 minute position, and is on the bench far too often for someone of his ability. He can't be 100% trusted to put in a shift for his team.
If he just sits down and asks himself why, and accepts his faults - then he's cracked it.
He can be anything he wants to be, IF he's willing to learn from stuff like this.
If he refuses to, then it'll just happen again and again... whether he's at QPR, Spurs, Barcelona or Luton.

It was only a matter of time before this happened, it's been brewing up all year. And it's the reason he's not banging on the door at Spurs, because he does have the ability.

Common sense tells you nothing of the kind what an anal comment !

It sounded like groans, maybe it was boos, however what common sense tells us Peter is that a sound of dissaporval was made by the crowd and it was that which he reacted to and his reaction got the boos !!
