        Not sure how you can continue to defend a player with so much football experience. He should be able to slot straight in regardless of how we're playing, and if he was any good, improve us. He hasn't improved us.

        He already knew he was going to be involved in a relegation scrap before he signed for us. You're right in saying he's not used to it, but if he himself had doubts, he shouldn't have signed. You can't use that as an excuse for him. Rio is hardly a novice.

        A cynic might say he signed for a London premier league team to keep him among the London-centric media, and to help him promote his book.....
