What's the end goal?

What are your views on the end goal for QPR and TF?

I've been thinking about this, but what is the purpose of the club?

Apart from the top 5 or 6 clubs in the country, everyone else is just trying to survive in whichever capacity they can.

My views is that we get a new ground, regenerate the community, and perhaps win a cup or two in the next 10-15 years. That would be a success.

We will never win the PL, the PL will be in a different format if we ever get into a competitive stage. I'm not too fussed by that. I'm interested in being able to grow a larger fanbase and settle into a new ground. I expect TF will be gone in 10-15 years so will be a different regime and targets/expectations.

What would make the TF regime a success for you?

An established solid premier league club who are competitive in the cup competitions with a new training facility and a productive acadamy would be fantastic

10-15 years is a long time..... IF money is used properly and we get our selves a decent manager/coaches who can make us become a solid prem side in the next 5 years, by the end of 15 years there's no reason why we shouldn't be aiming for Europe each year after that... Of the pitch this new ground and training facilities are in place. And a good youth academy.

Quite right Hitman and we are along for the ride. Personally, I'm happy about that because the alternative, as we all know, was not knowing how we were going to pay back the 10m ABC loan.

Anyway, that's Tony's goal, not ours. I concur with previous posters: established PL team and competitive in the Cups. Similar space to the one currently occupied by Liverpool and Spurs, for example.

A steady Prem side playing exciting football and a good academy with some local kids.

A successful academy for any kind of long term sustainability IMO, lots of clubs have bigger budgets than us and takeovers happen all the time, you never know which clubs will be splashing out in the next few years. There's lots of local talent in W/NW London, if we establish a good coaching setup there's no reason they can't come through at QPR, even if they're only good enough for the lower leagues. THAT is how Fernandes can help the local community.

The league will be different because top 4-6 teams will not be playing in the PL but in a new European leagye

I can take bobbing between divisions if the end product is what Southampton have got.
