So true, know a few who worked under him when he was at Spurs and he would be very similar to Redknapp only younger.God I hope not, he'll be shocking. Basically Harry mk2, except he's much younger. Spouts bllocks constantly, clueless about tactics, seems to be a dinosaur despite only being in his 40s.
It's mystifying how he's even in the running for this. The guy had half a season managing a top6 side by default. They finished 6th, exactly where you would have expected them to be. They played antiquated football straight out of the Blackburn 1990s playbook, weren't fun to watch or remotely consistent.
And yet he's suddenly flavour of the month. Why? What on earth has he done to be in front of Steve McLaren, for instance?
Appointing Sherwood would be the third time in a row Fernandes has gone for the recently-unemployed English loudmouthed flavour of the month. When will he learn?Comment

Really?.... that really is knowing someone itk on this subject. If that's the case we should stay well clear, sort of going in circles if he comes here then.... He always came across as a young, passionate, enthusiastic manager who'd give the youngsters a chance but that's only going on what everybody else see's on tv, NOT what's happening behind the scenes.
SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!Comment

Good manager who I think should apply for the forest job!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Sherwood is not qualified to be a manager, he's just a coach who got a lucky break at Spurs. He played the Spurs youth players but as a former first team it is almost CERTAIN either he or his colleagues got bonuses for that. As said he is basically Arry's disciple...
Like Arry he talks himself up but wasn't anything more than mediocre at Spurs - he just sent them out to run around like school kids and they got by on individual talent. That isn't gonna work here, we need a manager with an entirely different set of skills. As much as I used to despise him Pulis looks like the right man for the job right now…Comment

Pullis is what the squad needs - a no nonsense manager who doesn't take crap from no one and will Put out a team that has passion and cares.
It won't be pretty football but we might just have a chance. The players he brought in at palace on a shoe string budget are still doing a job now.Comment
