he then bans every one who disagrees with him

he then busts a nut to appear on SKY, BBC, and every newspaper to give his opinion, despite the fact he represents no one but himself and a couple of mates

I certainly would not vote for anybody in this stupid idea.

Fans do not need a spokesman - they have these boards to air their views and these views are wide and varied.

How is a spokesperson going to get a consensus - he can't and we will be left with what will always be that persons biased view.

Another point - what would be his brief in terms of what is he a spokesperson of.

If the club wan't a spokesperson then they should read the boards to get peoples views always bearing in mind that these boards are dominated by a minority of supporters and not the silent majority.
