    Attacking the opposition Hoilett.

Receiving ball with back to opp and making something happen. Phillips

Also you might see them both have a good 10 15 min spell but then do things you think are utter useless

          Play them both narrow.
One each side of Charlie in a 4-2-3-1 and just send them out to attack.
          Nico roaming in the middle...sorted.

The fact that both have struggled when starting games, but performed better coming on as subs against tiring fullbacks surely means neither are good enough to be starting in the Prem ?

Both are confidence players that are short on confidence

I think a lot of our players are being asked to occupy roles they ain't able for. Phillips has been used as a No.10, a striker, a midfielder and a wingback. He's a pacy right winger who can put a ball in the box, nothing else. play him that way and Charlie will get his predatory chances.

It's not a matter of cleanly. Phillips does strike a ball well it's just that it veers off towards the corner flag or row X & very rarely ever near the 2 white stick things that he's meant to be aiming at. Awful awful accuracy.

Hoilett is the better player but neither would be in my starting XI

Been hugely disappointed in both of them, to be honest.
I reckon you're about right, neither of them has impressed much, I voted Hoilett only because he has looked more of a threat when he plays so far this season, neither is good enough atm!

Agree with this. And play Hoilet in the middle just behind the strikers NOT on the wing.

at the moment Phillips doing very little to help the team. Hoilletts pace frightens teams and he did well on saturday when he came on gave Austin more help and was direct which got us forward much quicker and got them on the back foot, alas had it not been for our poor 2 C/Bs and Isla we might have even got something from the game they have to go

Can't we just give Petrasso a go....couldn't be any worse than our current options.

I think Hoilett is an impact player from the bench but Phillips is really struggling at the moment.
