Today's 2-1 scoreline flatters us. We could and should have been 3 down at half-time - it was only Southampton's poor finishing that prevented that. Yes we looked brighter towards the end but the first 60 - 70 minutes were dire.

It's a shame we entered this campaign with an element of fear. We have gathered no momentum, and judging by our forthcoming fixtures, it'll be quite some time before we do.
Hopefully, with a bit of luck, we won't have left it too late when we eventually do.

Far better performance but they were very wasteful first half had we gone in two or three down don't think we could have argued. Second half however I thought we shaded and Niko free kick at the end had it gone in would have been deserved

Southampton were very average today and still should of scored another 2 or 3 on top of their two.

You must be joking. I saw the match on Sky and we should have been buried. We were unlucky with the free kick but they had 4 better chances. Green partly to blamed for the first goal but he saved 3 goals. What did their goalie have to do?

We should start attacking from the begining to give the game a real go rather than wait until we concede.
