    Non League Day

This coming Saturday marks non league day, a day where non league football is promoted as there are no Premiership or Championship football.

Great post MYU! Might be a good opportunity to get down to Barnet and support cookie (they are at home vs. Alfreton).

Get down to Buckingham Town, not to far in Bletchley now. Home game against the mighty S&L Corby.

MYU, does the designated day mean that most or all these non league clubs are doing free entry for season ticket holders?

asking bc i checked for my mate's team Maidenhead United, and found this gem
                    http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/maiden...y-1283252.html

Maidenhead United will be playing away at Staines Town, who are offering FREE ENTRY (proof of ID required) to:
                    - season ticket holders of Arsenal, Brentford, Chelsea, QPR, Reading, Wycombe
just curious if they're among the few or that's the point of the whole day..

just read more of that link. still no clarity on whether all non league clubs are doing it.
but for further incentive for Rs to get out there:

Vanarama, will make a donation on behalf of every fan attending a Vanarama Conference fixture to Prostate Cancer UK, the event’s charity. Based on last year’s attendance this will be a donation of £4,000. If the matchday attendance across the Vanarama Conference is higher than 50,000, Vanarama will donate at least £10,000. If anyone is down the south coast you can watch Weymouth play the mighty Slough Town. A lot of Slough Town supporters main club in who they support is QPR
