Firstly, I didn't realise there was a loan window for premiership teams but as many refer to it here, I assume there is, when does it open?, secondly, does anyone and I mean anyone who what is actually happening with Vargus, I note TF never mentioned him when talking about our strikers?......apart from the glaring omission of a striker or two, I was very pleased to have Sandro here and Niko gives us options and pleased we held on to (I realise we didn't have to hold on too tightly) to Taarabt

As I understand it Vargas' paperwork has gone through and he can be named jn the squad. He can't play or be paid until his work permit comes through. Given he's been playing in an EU country that can't be a problem.... We can sign free agents after the deadline if we have space in our 25 member squad. Might we only name 24 and sign Diarra if he resolves his contractual problems with the Russians and so becomes a free agent?

or wait and see if a striker becomes a free agent i.e. Jonas from Valencia. and don't include SWP in the 25 man squad.

Released by Valencia, admittedly 30 but a great strike rate.
Contract until January ? Even a year wouldn't hurt much.

You can sign free agents or loan out players to countries that still have there windows open or football league clubs shortly when there loan window opens is how I understand it. No incoming loans though.
