Sandro would be a monster of a signing. Spurs fans really rate him. Would move Fer into a more advanced role also where I think he would be at his best unleashing shots like that one yesterday wooooooosh.

We all said this on 1st September, 2012, before we slowly remembered football isn't played on paper.

Sandro is class and would be a hell of a signing. Not too sure about the others though - there are far, far better options than Defoe for the money, same with Lennon. And Diarra smacks of a Hughes 2012 signing (as does this whole spree tbh, if it happens).

Defoe went out there cause he wanted to go to QPR but Levy wouldn't allow the move Levy doesn't have a choice now and Nelsen getting sacked is probably a good enough excuse to want to leave

yes we did but this is a better team IMO and these are all Harry's players so he knows there abillities and strengths

Not thrilled about this tbh, he's the exact sort of signing I worried Harry would make. Old, past his best, played for much bigger clubs in the past, nothing really to prove...how is this any different from the sort of things we criticised the Hughes signings for?

I also think he is very one dimensional and was overrated even in his prime. All this wouldn't be a problem if he were a 22yr old on small money, but for a big name turning 32 in october who will want to start every game it is a worry.

So what? Hughes knew the abilities and strengths of his signings too.

And we haven't seen any evidence yet that this is a better team than the 2012/13 one. I'd say given the level of opposition we were just as good at the end of 2011/12 (Hughes' first season, the run of wins at home that kept us up) as we were stumbling into the play-offs last year. And then we've had four very mixed performances thus far this season.

It's way too early to just assume we're better this year and that therefore we can get away with repeating the same transfer strategy.

Do you see the circular logic here? We'll be better because we're a better team this time because we've signed players who will be better because they're in a better side.

Deluded. Tell me another realistic striker we can get that's played and scored goals in this league regularly for under 10million. Will defo score double figures
