                        The squad is **** - just because we've overpaid for players doesn't mean we've signed quality. Mutch Phillips Austin Simpson are not great players, they're overpriced Championship fodder. And we can't build a premiership squad out of free transfers - it is a terrible policy but one we can't seem to abandon. Fer/Caulker I am happy with, Rio is worth it on a free, and I can't comment on the Chileans yet.

                        We either need to spend big wisely, or up our scouting game.

                        Come to think of it when was the last time we grabbed a real bargain? Remy? Adel? Faurlin? It's a joke. We'd have more luck if TF signed players off their potential on Fifa.
