And to be an embarrassment to a shirt that crap is shows real commitment to being uncommittedOriginally posted by Hoopsmad View Post"To play in a half-hearted fashion, at least you need a heart. Ha!
Ouch, ouch and ouch.
Still, won't be Redknapp's fault. Never is.
If he had the 2007-2011 Barcelona side, he'd still claim he was one player short and 'needed bodies'Meet me by the railway tracks

Yes the report is bang on , bu none of the other " whines" are pathetic ,if you pay your money ,spend your time , bother to watch ,stream ,whatever , youve got a right to moan after that lacklustre performance today ,just sayingOriginally posted by Buffalo View PostHonest and the Mirror rarely go together but it's hard to argue with that article.
At least it doesn't go on about the formation, Harry's waving and the other pathetic whines that have appeared on here today. Just saying.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers

Sorry but a lot of them are pathetic IMO. Yes, the performance was sh1te so that seems to be agreed and a good target for a moan.Originally posted by vespa View PostYes the report is bang on , bu none of the other " whines" are pathetic ,if you pay your money ,spend your time , bother to watch ,stream ,whatever , youve got a right to moan after that lacklustre performance today ,just saying
But blaming the formation? We could have played 5-5-5 today and we still would have lost the way the players were. Whinging about Harry waving - really? I think there are bigger things to worry about.
And singling out players for blame when pretty much none of them turned up makes little sense to me either.
I am amazed that nobody has yet come on here and blamed Hoddle. And I bet we would have performed better if the players had spent more time training and less time tipping ice buckets on their heads.
Still, who am I to spoil all this fun? Fill your boots.

It was a bad match to say the least, these things happen in football, am I concerned? Darn right I am but the Hull match was more of a downer to me because they could be in the relegation scrap with us and we were at home! Some people were talking Europa League after the new signings and they now have us certain relegation favourites, it's the nature of the beast! The team definitely needs to get a win under the belt soon to get confidence but it is much to soon to write this squad off and panic!@gatorTFC

Deja Vu.
The thing that concerned me the most about Harry's post match was his laid back attitude about how to address the problem ("what's the point in yelling and shouting at people?"). I wonder what Brian Clough would have done with this shower after that match? If you've read his autobiography then you'd know that yelling and shouting would have been the least of their worries!'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

As our leader his comments and body language didn't inspire confidence one bit. How is that going to lift his players' spirits and confidence when they watch that? Saying that, we weren't expected to get anything from yesterday's game, the Hull home reverse was far more crucial. I hate to be negative but just calling it as I see it re warning signs. It wasnt just the defeat, but the whole manner of it.Originally posted by hal9thou View Postthe press conference was weird.

If this was our 6th match and the new signings weren't putting a shift in then I would expect Harry to be a little pissed, it's our second match however and we lost to a very talented Spurs side with 5 of our starting 11 either making their debut or playing their second match! I'm not sure if Harry has ever been the kind of manager who yells and screams at his players, that doesn't work with the millionaire modern footballers anyways! I hope Harry plays a strong 11 in the League Cup and gets some of the new faces more familiar with his system, Sunderland will tell more of a tale than away to Spurs did I think!Originally posted by dsqpr View PostDeja Vu.

Agree with every word Buffalo. Two games in and people are already losing their bottle. The same people that where lauding our summer transfer dealings. New players, new system - they both need time to work.Originally posted by Buffalo View PostSorry but a lot of them are pathetic IMO.
