I thought he looked ok. showed good bursts through the middle at points and was unlucky with the header but got into a goal scoring position.

Faurlin looked the best of a not particularly good bunch in midfield today, prior to the substitutions. Mutch did little but I was more worried about Barton - if he is to be our midfield general, its worrying because he just doesn't have the skills to be the dead ball magician. Without starting up the whole Adel debate again we badly, badly need a number 10.

Looked tidy and creative on the ball but played out of position for me. He was supposed to be in the hole but at times he was level and in advance of Austin and Remy. Needs to play deeper so can get on the ball and turn

Looked head and shoulders above Barton, looked a decent player but not 100% fit

Didn't make the most of his chances but a promising performances regardless.

As said I am more worried that we are relying on Barton to do what he did for us in the Champs..
