It's getting ridiculous now, all this stuff about Adel. The fact is, he's not fit, apparently doesn't want to play for us, and his attitude appears to be in conflict with the spirit of the team.
We can't keep having Adel threads after each game surely?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

[QUOTE=Stanley76;1308653]That depends on if he makes the 25 man squad Richard.
Not that I can see that happening.
But seriously, this AT obsession is becoming quite farcical now.[/QUOTE
Couldn't agree more, some just can't get over Adel, I hope he ain't in the 25 then we can stop all this S##T about a fat overweight lard **** who doesn't want to be here, won't train properly is a bad influence on team spirit and the manager doesn't want him. Let put all these poor Adel lovers out of their misery and sell him, they may all go and support the team he plays for and clog up their message boardsComment

So unnecessarily nasty.Couldn't agree more, some just can't get over Adel, I hope he ain't in the 25 then we can stop all this S##T about a fat overweight lard **** who doesn't want to be here, won't train properly is a bad influence on team spirit and the manager doesn't want him. With added accusations of non-QPR supporting thrown in for good measure. That really is a bad habit that this board should get out of. Scummy thing to do.Comment

Bull. It's nasty to pull 2 years worth of wages a week for a well off working bloke and not do a thing to earn it. Absolutely detest the bloke for what he is now.

Perhaps, but the vitriol seems a bit OTT, and when it's paired with constant abuse of those who don't share the same feelings, it starts to grate a bit.
He'll be off soon, those who wish to can hold their celebrations, and we can move on. Hope it's sorted soon.Comment

Can't fault you on that.

Wonder what the result will be now after the preseason, where AT has been "training" with the squad for a monthFirst: A big poll on here a few weeks ago actually showed the majority of fans wanted him to stay. Sorry that is inconvenient. The adel lovers go on, but so do the adel haters, and not always with reasoned argument.
Second point is he is still a rangers player. He has not been transferred. Owing to his high opinion of himself and our high valuation there is a fair chance he will stay. Am sure he will be frozen out initially but wouldn't be surprised if round about xmas he was brought back in desperation just like before. Nothing is certain in football. Who wd have thought joey barton wd ever play for us again (even those members of the *** community who form the "oooh we do love our joey because he's just so butch" fan club).

Taarabt after preseason "training" poll
Thought it was time for another AT poll. Last one was before preseason "training"

A good locker room is priceless, so he should go ASAP, especially if the club can afford it. Some fans like him a lot and thinks that he has done well for the club. All the more reason to let him go and play wherever he wants. He probably earns more than the majority of the squad. Paying his wages while freezing him out is bad business.Comment

Which says a lot more about you than him. He's a 25 year old who clearly has problems, otherwise he would be world class - remember Harry said that this was the most naturally gifted player he had ever seen. If - and it is a massive if - he returned to the form he was showing just a few months ago in Serie A and doing it in our shirt, I suspect you'd hate a little bit less. No one here really knows the cause of the rift (although I suspect a certain agent may have done some damage both here and in Italy). Adel can perform at the highest level, equally he is very high maintenance. That is not an easy scenario to manage. I understand everyones frustration, but right now he is still one of ours, and in theory could still pull on a shirt. The hatred on what is supposed to be an Rs forum is embarrassing.Comment
