    Don't think Harry said anything wrong, he is correct and we're short. The team needs strengthening but we need to sell players on big wages who will not feature to make way, that's the hard part.

        It was a poor pre season:
        * the opposition were more suited to Championship pre-season (although winninmg promotion via the play-offs possibly meant less time to organise better opponents more suitable for preparing for the premiership).
        * the lack of players who will be part of the squad (not all of it could be helped i.e. Remy and Taarabt were expected to be sold, so didn't feature).

        Hopefully Remy will stay and QPR will sign a defensive midfielder and with Isa in the line-up the 1st team will look better equipped for the season ahead.

        Another striker and barring any serious injuries, QPR should have a squad capable of competing for a place outside the bottom 3.

        Green, Cesar, Murphy;
        Isla, Ferdinand, Culker, Onouha, Yun, Traore, Dunne, Hill, Simpson;
        Barton, Mutch, Faurlin, Henry, (2 from Diame Diarra de Gruzman);
        Phillips, Hoilett, Taarabt;
        Austin, Remy, Zamora, (A.N.Other);
        22 + 3 signings - doesn't look too shabby.

        Hoddle joining as a coach should also be a massive help as he will be better suited to getting the 3 CB formation working well.

          The club are hoping to arrange a behind closed door game against a millwall eleven this week.

            It's true though, why do we always play such shite teams in preseason? Who's choice was it to tour Ireland?

            We've signed Mutch, Caulker, Rio & got Isla on loan. Tbh that's not really enough.

            But then again, would you give Arry a free reign to spend? Cos I wouldn't, Spurs wouldn't and it looks like TF won't.

              I hope that game will be played on a decent pitch against a good team.
