I was at that game. I remember a load of bods walking in the palace seats at the end singing Millwall, not sure if they was wall. I reckon that season started our big rivalry with Palace.

Ipswich 1976, drew I believe 1-1, not many R's there
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

first away game was at reading

first away game was at reading circa 1960,worst way game was brentford away lost 6-1 we got absolutely ripped to pieces we had sold brian bedford our legendary goal scorer and all these crosses kept being pumped into our box,and there was no legendary striker to convert them into goals
i really cried when i was being driven home it was terrible being ripped apart like that
best away game was conventry away 1968-69 we got beat 0-5 but we rained bottles down on the midlanders outside and run them all over the gaff
very good day at the office for the rangers hooli nut squad
