You'd have to ask Vesp's that BUT the lads I know who turned up are just local lads joining in on a day out on the phish ...........
AND I forgot to mention the number of wives / partners who were taken too.
Either way I'd think 20k fans MAXIMUM who'd trot out week in week out if we went on a massive run of success.
That's why I'm in the 30k 'gang of four'"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Fair enough but I think you see my point - Gooner today, Ranger tomorrow. You'd have to ask Vesp's that BUT the lads I know who turned up are just local lads joining in on a day out on the phish ...........

I think we'd do a lot better than 20k but of course I'm just guessing too. Back in the 70s I'm sure we averaged around 25k for our good seasons and the demand for football in London has increased significantly since then.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.Comment

The fans consultation result was that a 35k stadium was about right. I went for 40k. Games we would get large attendances:
Arsenal, Spurs, Chelski, WHU, Palace, City, Utd, Liverpool, Newcastle and maybe Everton. That's at least half of the prem.
Introduce good ticket prices for the remainder and we'd sell a fair few.
TF has said he knows how to get bums on seats and I believe him, although I accept the doubters don't.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

No chance of converting my mate Kev, he`s Arsenal through and through , he just fancied a day out on the lash with his mates ,simple as that. If there was free Guiness maybe but only maybe !Well, here's a thought: is that Gooner one of the many thousands who can't afford the Gooner's exorbitant season ticket prices and has a membership, along with many thousands more than they have seats available, in the hope of getting in to a few matches a year, most likely against the Hull Citys and Burnleys of the Premier League? If so, I wonder what he would think about coming along to Rangers a bit more often when we have a nice shiny new state of the art stadium and he can't get into the Arab Airline Stadium?Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and TrainersComment
