Yes and Yes people can what they like but they do make good pre season match a real carnival atmosphere , QPR wanted to make it an annual event and you can see why 10k at Derby on Sat

My main concern is we've hardly had any decent matches pre season to actually prepare for the prem. Made the same mistake with the Asia tour when we thrashed sides 5-0 as too easy then got battered by swansea.

Also we're playing Hull who are already competing in the Europa league so i just feel they will probably be far better prepared. Hope im wrong.....

Exactly what I've been saying. They done their business early & have had plenty of time to gel as a team/squad.

Oh and it was against some italian side, good goal but our defence was like a fan ny craddocks yorkshire, so their striker calved straight through. Think wewwanted to sign him after but he turned us down, dani something I think the lad was called

I would imagine we'll play a lot better against Hull where it actually means something! I'd be more worried if we took the pre-season games more seriously than we have done and got key players injured.

Also, Hull have got to travel to Slovakia, play a competitive match on Thursday, travel back Friday and play us Saturday. Hopefully they will have a tough game out there AND be knackered. Could be the best team to play on the opening day.

Well I gave in and have just bought one online for £10 just in case I fancy it on Saturday
