I just hope if he stay they actually have a plan on who take free-kicks when its within shooting range of goal, don't want to see him and Barton fighting over the ball, happened a lot in the past with other players and just gets silly and embarrassing.

Yeah about that, but his accuracy is pretty spot on. Rarely skies it, forced plenty of good saves last season and hit the post/bar a few times also. Harsh to criticise him.Originally posted by stanistheman View PostLike the one today at Shamrock?
Just how many has he scored for QPR 3 or 4?

Ronaldo isn't a good FK taker, most of his he just hits as hard as he can with his "technique" of striking the ball but most go straight into he wall. A good FK taker like Beckham and the like place the ball and beat the wall nearly every time and more often than not hit the target to force a save if they don't score.Originally posted by Mattyqpr View PostOr the one at Orient on Tuesday?
Joey isn't Ronaldo but he's far better than Adel.
Anyway, Adel won't even be here.

I don't care if a player beats the wall every time or forces the keeper into a save, that's accuracy, which isn't the intention. If Ronaldo just wanted to hit the target then I'm sure he'd just work on that. Ronaldo has scored 49 direct free kicks, not quite sure how that isn't good? He takes a lot granted, but anyone who scores 49 free kicks is doing something right!Originally posted by Del View PostRonaldo isn't a good FK taker, most of his he just hits as hard as he can with his "technique" of striking the ball but most go straight into he wall.
