Wouldn't read too much into pre season results. it's about fitness, lads ain't gonna fly into tackles against the likes of orient or Southend.remember England getting beat at the old Wembley just before the 1990 wc.lost 1-3 to Uruguay if I remember right!

Exactly! No reason to panic if the results haven't been to our liking! We need some pieces to add to this squad but we knew that before the friendlies!

The importance of having a settled back 3 consisting of pace and power, additional central midfield players especially one who can fill the 'N.10' role!

That we have the same panicking every season about performances in pre season even though the games are all about fitness

Yes and look how the team performed in the Premiership after such disappointing pre seasons.

They are about getting players match fit, but also about perfecting formations and tactics and settling in new signings. None of the latter 3 things are seemingly happening. Where are the new signings.? Sure Remy's future is uncertain but even if he was staying all along another striker was required to add ton the squad 4 is the minimum a 25 Man squad should have.

I hate the 3 5 2 formation and think it's a massive risk to change with out the correct players or.depth of squad to make it successful atm.

Pre-season we went down we scored loads of goals and went unbeaten

Remember this is only our 3rd pre season game so a few more games to start perfecting the formation I would of thought the Ireland tour would be where we get a settled side and start playing majority of the team that will start against Hull.

In respect of signings yes would be great to have them all for pre season but the WC has seen to that and remember we signed Austin day before opening day last season so no need to panic as I'm sure we will sign a stupid amount of players as that's what we always do
