One for the big boys, they wouldn't sell to us, it's all very sad what's happening there, they have money behind them but still losing great players, it doesn't bode well for clubs our size once we start developing players.
We have to grow as a club and fast or we are doomed I tell ya doomed.

I dunno mate, I don't think he's looked at by the bigger clubs as being in the same mould as Lallana or Lambert. One for the big boys, they wouldn't sell to us, it's all very sad what's happening there, they have money behind them but still losing great players, it doesn't bode well for clubs our size once we start developing players.

Not sure what's so confusing? We need a hell of a lot more players than 2 or 3. The creativity in our side is appalling. They might only be friendlies but we've created about 3 chances in two games against lower league German opposition. Everyone keeps banging on about strikers, which is right, however, more importantly is a number 10 and a centre midfielder that is box to box.
I think it's plainly obvious Harry is going to play with one striker, a number 10 and 3 in the middle. I don't think Fer is going to be our box to box midfielder, he'll sit in with Barton/Faurlin, so I'd expect a goalscoring centre mid to arrive too. Decent available options for that role for me would be:
Tim Cahill, who can also play at number 10.
Jonathan De Guzman
Morgan Amalfitano
Jordon Mutch (more of a winger).
I'd love to see 3 at the back, two wing backs then.
Barton/Faurlin De Guzman Fer
Valbuena

"Decent" goal scoring centre mids? Are you serious with your list?
Cahill - not played in English football for two years.
De Guzman - 9 in 71 for Swansea
Amalfitano - 4 in 31 for WBA
Mutch - 7 in 53 for Cardiff
Valbuena in your "number 10" role - 25 in 227 for Marseille
Not impressive numbers at all.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

Crack on then, let's have your realistic targets? Also, what difference does it make if Cahill hasn't played here for two years?"Decent" goal scoring centre mids? Are you serious with your list?

It wasn't me who said these guys were "decent" available goal scoring CMs, you did. I just put up their records, which are not impressive by any means.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment
