If our three most valuable players are, at a guess, Routledge, Buz and Watson (albeit on loan) wd you swap them for Cardiff's three best who I take to be Chopra, McGoldrick and Ledley?
I ask because it struck me reading their post mortems on their forums that they complain as much about a lack of depth in their midfield as we do about our striker force.
Think the interesting thing about the championship (possibly Newcastle apart, but who knows if they will hang on to their squad) is there are probably a dozen clubs with half a really good, virtually premiership team; but almost all seem to have major weaknesses (look at 'Boro at the weekend).
I still don't think we have enough to go up, but I'm starting to think that lots of other clubs have major weaknesses too. We are just more aware of our's.
