When does the MLS season start and end?
I'm sure there is a gap where we could get Defoe on loan for 3 months?
You would think that Nelsen would let us have 1st choice over any other club.

The paper gossip may be bringing up old names again like they do.
But even having Defoe for a few months could make a huge difference to our survival next season.

If we get him on loan, it would be January until March.

I don't know if QPR will get him, but I do think that Defoe would have been a better option than Welbeck for the World Cup.

Currently, Defoe has God like status over here, so I'm not sure what it would take to make him leave.
Prior to his arrival in Toronto, there was a national advertising campaign in all media outlets; you would of thought Messi was on his way over
