I'm with you midgeyboy we certainly need more than 4 or 5. Squad is far to bare not enough depth. We need 2 strikers now with Remy leaving. 1 cb on the way we know about. Seems like Harry wants a rb. 1 cm and possibly a cam number 10 type of player and at least 1 more winger. I reckon at least 7 players are needed plus maybe 1 or two frees like Collison and oniel to add some depth.

That's about right then evaluate the squad in August. Maybe add Moses on loan to give compeition to the wide men as we really only have 3. Hoilett, Traore and Phillips. Surely SWP won't feature

What I noticed is how he said that looking at the formation Harry wants to play, we may need a few more centre backs... Me thinks Dawson/Vlaar, Caulker, Lascelles and maybe one more, which gives us:
Ferdinand, Dunne, Hill, Ehmer, Onuoha, Dawson/Vlaar, Caulker, Lascelles +1 so we have 9 centre backs with lascelles and the +1 not having to be registered
