Had forgotten all about him. If he resolved his off-field issues then maybe there is still a player there, if not we might as well just buy out his contract as no point keeping him around if he is never going to feature.

I agree mate. Its so frustrating because when he played for us when he first came I think everyone thought we'd unearthed a real gem. He was superb. But then we signed him permanently and it all went wrong. If he gets his head sorted hes a real player.

Don't read anything too much into Remy not being there. I'm not saying he is staying but it's pretty common for any players featuring in the WC to have extra time off before returning to training
