The thing that has changed is TF's attitude. He's the daddy this window, the feeding frenzy is long gone. All the evidence points in this direction including his own public statements.

I agree but this frugal stance is also a problem.. Season starts in little over a month and we have mo one in to make a top 4 championship team into premiership survivors. To date we have had offers for Lascelles, Bryson, Sigthorsson, Aurier turned down. No caulker or rio deal done.

PB Made a big deal just after the final that players would be identified early and brought in... No results so far..

Just hope we don't leave it too late and have to do with cast offs and the unwanted. ...

Rio is an example my guess is that when he returned from Brazil he signed but we have kept it under wraps!! why because he had to head straight back to Brazil to finish off his pundit commitments. We know from how the club announced Charlie and Park that they like to put a bit of effort into the unveiling of a player so I would expect something on Rio Tuesday or Wednesday next week once hes back in the country and they can do proper media unveiling the other option was to do what Chelsea done with Fabregas and send him a top and get him to take photo in top in hotel room with his I phone

There is some serious c rap being spouted on this thread.

the fact is we have not signed anyone as of yet and also no one has agreed to join us.

with 5 weeks to go till the start of the season and needing to sgn at least 6 or 7 prem league standard players, the old gell factor will once again come into play.
