I mean how can we predict that now when we haven't signed anyone when we clearly are going to. To much panicking atm. Dont get me wrong mate if we are sitting here on aug 13 th and still no one in and things are quiet i'll be joining you with wtf is going on ect....but we still have plenty of time to do business and far to early to panic.

Yeah i know mate. Getting a bit frustrated that's all. Really want a good season, it feels natural to worry a bit.

The 'Down by xmas comes to mind' was tongue in cheek. I didn't put in emoticon cos in my experience of late, they are removed by staff.

It was said more lightheartedly than that suggests.

Mate I completely understand, its a big season for us and when you see other teams spending and signing players we all get jealous and want to see our team getting involved. I think the fact is as well we all know we need some serious investment and quality brought in to give us a chance of staying up.
As I said earlier I just think its a little early to worry to much at present. I think we will see a fair bit of business done by us in the next 2 or 3 weeks. If we creep into august or mid august and still nothing then ill be joining the panic brigade 100 %.

Burnley and Leicester may have signed five players each, but wd you really want any of them?

All but the most optimistic fan recognises that we probably need to improve our squad more than any other single team in the division so there is a desperate need for half a dozen really good acquisitions. But the targets seem sensible, we are not being held to ransom and we are freeing up wages by off-loading the dead-wood so I am happy to wait a couple more weeks before I panic.

I reckon the people moaning there arent any players coming in right this second would be the first to moan if they dont agree with said signing.

Mem my friend imo Leicester and Burnely are rushing and signing whoever free agents. I am glad we are calming down a bit and sure we will make the right signings. Most deals will come after the World Cup. Looks at other PL clubs. There have not been many deals yet.

Indeed. We cd probably buy Hooper tomorrow but if we cd get Siggerthson next week instead for roughly the same money, it wd surely be worth the wait.

I think we need to stay calm. The most important things imo are trying to keep some of the players we already have.

If we can persuade Remy and Adel to stay on then it would take 2 extremely good signings to better them and I just can't see that happening.

Yes we need to sign but lets make sure we keep our best 2 players 1st.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Begs belief mate. We splash the cash and sign everyone, people moan. We all want the board to be a bit more cautious, and now that they are, people moan.
