Welcome Tepper, and dont mind WeAreQPR12. His inhospitable tone is really his roundabout way of trying to be nice.Originally posted by Tepper View PostIf it makes you feel any better, the Ryder Cup registers somewhere between the Hot Dog Eating Contest and the World Series of Poker around here.

My mother in law supported the Mets. She used to swear at the tv when they were on (especially Darryl Strawberry). My father-in-law and my husband (when he was a kid) used to support the Dodgers when they were in Brooklyn. They often used to watch them at Ebbets Field. When they did a midnight flit my father-in-law was so disgusted, he started supporting the ****ees.Originally posted by twranger View PostLove a bit of baseball - shame it's not on ch5 here anymore.....seen the Mets at the Shea in NY many times. Lets go Mets!!!

No more divisive figure in Dallas than Romo. Some (like me) think he's a very good quarterback who's surrounded by a cast of clowns. Others (many others, actually) think he's just a choke artist. Truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.Originally posted by SammyKojoe View PostWhy does Romo always choke and fail with the Cowboys?
Gets paid fortunes as well but always fails.
(Not a Cowboys fan, for what it's worth.)
