im guessing our first transfer almost confirmed and its a center back

im guessing that forest center half lascelles will be comming to loftus road the reason why im guessing this is because tottenham and arsenal also are chasing him but i think we could offer him a virtual guaranteed starting place

SO WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE

Not forgetting Onuoha. He was class last season and deserves a chance at CB imo.

Definitely not forgetting Ned! One of our most important players, on and of the field IMO..... the thing with ned is he may only be 27 but he seems to have been around for ages, and played at a very very high level with man city and played for England under 21s.

if we get both Caulker and Lascelles, my starting pair would be Ned and Caulker. Lascelles will be 3rd choice and get games here and there and learn in training from old heads like Dunne and Hill

Yeah I agree, and I would be happy with that too. Decent defence imo. Then we gotta get a couple of creative midfielders in. We didnt score too many for a large period of last season in the championship, so we need more creativity if we are going to score goals in the prem.

I don't think the opening bid will be good enough. It's good to see we're bidding for young British players like Caulker and Lascelles though, very promising.

def testing the waters with a 4 m bid - if we can get for around 6 would be fantastic business plus caulker at 8 and cb positions sorted.

Caulker has a buy out clause, hopefully we've met this and are in talks with him now. Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in him apparently, so I'd give Caulker a deadline to decide, because once one of the big clubs comes in, we're out the in the dark and have wasted time in bringing in other potential targets.
