Despite it only being the Carling Cup, for us supporters, this is our Cup Final on Wednesday.
There may be more important games for us to win this season, particularly if we are at the business end of the table come the end of the season. However, this game would be a massive morale boost for the players but more importantly should we win, it would live long in the memory of us Rangers fans.
Quite simply, any one of our players can become a Rangers hero and etch a place in our hearts should they score the winner on Wednesday. The players can go down in Rangers folklore.
I wonder if the players realise how much beating the sc=um would mean to us?
