Not wrong there, they're doing it already.

Beat us once before and got to the second stage of the WC.

The US team act like the R's squad when it comes to togetherness. They play for the badge. Playing for England will not mean the same thing anymore.

Totally agree with this, they really give it their all each time out.

I also have to say its been a real joy watching the USMNT grow over the past few years. I know the MLS is not good by any means but we started 7 MLS guys today, just goes to show what teamwork can do and some togetherness. Interesting mini-series about the US mens team buildup to the WC called inside US soccer's march to brazil (6 episodes) and is quite interesting

Not me, I think that one is a toss up and perhaps the most interesting R16 match up. I have observed that Klinsmann has them playing a very German style of football, which I find very easy on the eye - very direct, get people forward, with lots of running and never say die.

Yeah England would be fücking winning everything if our squad was 60% German...

I thought USA were god-awful yesterday. Expect a full strength Belgium to put 4 past them easy in the last 16.

Still better than us tho :(

surprised to hear they have the biggest away support in the WC, well attended at the outside screenings too. If they get their act together, could be a major force in the not too distant future
