Rule Changes you would like to see

What really bugs me is players jockeying the ball out and stopping a player getting around them a good 10yards from the line. Its obstruction and anywhere else on the field the ref gives a free kick. Would like to se free kicks awarded as standard

Would also like to see them allow the quick freekick around the box again as everytime its done now the ref pulls it back saying wait for the whistle

Good shout on the obstruction.

Defenders/goalies often get away with really bad fouls after a striker takes a shot in the box. Rarely any action taken, but if the same challenges were made in the middle of the field, after a pass for example, they'd be free-kicks

Referral idea is probably the only way to be able to bring in video evidence for penalty decisions bookings etc, without it making the game too stop-start.

Inevitable le that you'd see appeals being made tactically to stop dangerous breaks etc. would need really strict rules on what could be reviewed.

It's promising that the goal-line technology seems to be working quickly and accurately when needed, but obviously there isn't a lot else it could be used for that wouldn't require human judgement.

Conceivably offsides could be done automatically I suppose?

Agree. Could be difficult to say for absolutely definite, especially as it's difficult to judge how big an impact speed, balance etc has on player's ability to stay on their feet, but in some cases it should be enough to make the call.

Would need to be retrospective too, too difficult to judge in all but the most clear cut cases on the field.
