I appreciate they've all gone out earlier than expected, but does anyone really think any team other than a South American one will win this world cup?? The climate practically rules out any other option. Had the WC been in a more temperate climate I'm confident results would have been different....except ours, we're 5h1t!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                      2015/2016, average at best.....

                      2016/2017, same old, same old....

                      2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Not overly surprising that some European countries falling at the hand of south americans. The shocker is the fact the likes of Greece are in the next round.

I have some partial optimism for the next 6-8 years thoguh as have some very decent players coming through. Baines needs to be dropped for Shaw long term, and the likes of Sterling, Oxlaide Chamberlain, walcott who's still young, Wilshire, Lallana, Sturridge, etc and it's not so bad.

My main concer is the defence as the likes of Cahill and jagielka simply aren't that good. The young lad Stones (?) at Everton who people rave about should be integrated sooner rather than later and let the younger crop develop as a team together.
