Rudyard Kipling was born in India but considered himself English. Wellington was born in Ireland but saw himself as English. The same with Tolkien who was born in South Africa.
Mo Farah was born in Somalia but considers himself British. Bradley Wiggins was born in Belgium but also sees himself as British.
Andy Townsend, born in England, considers himself Irish.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
