He is definately NOT a 'great player'. Good Championship player and below average Premier League player, but I'd take him at a good price.

hmmm yeah and where did those trials get him....? playing in the Scottish leagues and then championship with Leeds before Norwich..... He's nothing special at all, decent honest grafter yes, good left foot and dead ball for sure, but he isn't worth anything like £6m ffs. I would say he's a good championship player but average prem player.

average prem is more than good enough for us at this stage, small steps.

Well said California.People keep on about Snodgrass being "only an average Prem player".Give me average Prem players any day of the week.If we had a team of average players,by the law of "averages",we should finish half way up the league table by the end of next season.I'd personally take that all day long, then build on that.

I never disputed he might be a worthwhile decision, my point was he is not worth adding at £6m as loads of better options for that amount.

in other words, not much different to Mackie!!!

he is a good player, but a bid of around £3m for him would be nearer thw mark given he only had a year left on his contract.

Leave my Zimmer frame out of it, anyway, it's solar powered so I don't get out much, maybe that's why I am not as clued up as you.
