Well I personally would hate to see hangeland as it wouldn't be any better than what we've gotI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it! -
Exactly that and yet it would be massive wages and a free which will feel like de ja vu when things went so horribly wrong. I think williams would be a good long term option as he would be the answer over 5 years. Ferdinand has the key attributes but he does have plenty of injuries in his locker with persistent back problems so not a route that would be worth taking and fonte also a v solid signing like Williams who is provenI played sunday league football today.

If Williams is available it has to be him all day long in my eyes. Big strong athletic, 3 years prem experience in a very good footballing side and still has plenty left in the tank.Comment

Williams and Fonte would be my top two choices, think we've got enough experience at the back so there's no real need for Ferdinand on big wages in my opinion.Comment
