  • QPRs interest in Hooper rekindled

Article also mentions we could have signed him for just £1m when he was at Scunthorpe, and we also tried to sign him a couple of seasons ago but opted for Remy.

That's all well and good, but when he was at Scunthorpe, we barely had a pot to **** in.....

Think we can safely say Remy won't be with us come the start of the season. I'd be amazed if he is.

True but I like to think he has a decent sell on value

I can't really see Harry going for Hooper. I remember he was really annoyed when he decided to go to Norwich, because, I believe, Harry had already met with him, thought it was a done deal, and then it fell through. Not sure he would want to sign him after that.

I'd hope so too, I can't see us getting more than £10mill for him tbh. Hopefully if that is the case, there will be a sell on clause added.

Sure Harry has popped in & nicked a player here & there. Plenty of deals done via agents & imho clubs/managers understand that players will do what is best for them regardless.

Had not that b.....d Hooper broken his leg almost immediately after signing for Naarwich? Did not he turn off our offer last season? Let him die with the in....ds

Hooper is massively overrated, the Icelander is far better bet, even scores regularly at international level in a very average side. Would probably cost the same is younger and less wages.

By all accounts he didn't want to be with us in the Champ, he wanted to be a Prem player. Didn't exactly do much to cement that ambition.
