yeah that is what the people involved say and it was on the podcast thingy too.
but tbh it is a non issue anyhow. smart managers, in football or anywhere, take advice from as many good sources as possible (and they do get plenty of advice). The key is to select the correct piece of advice and that is the manager's decision. tbh though quite often it is a case of avoiding the crap advice and selecting one of the good suggestions. also you need a good culture within the football side of the club where the senior pro's are on the ball, feel comfortable chipping in, but also being tested all the time too. so whoever suggested doing whatever thing it is one person making the final call and the important thing is that the result prove it correct.Comment
