wasn't very effective for us and I wouldn't be rushing to take him.

A player at a premier league club with so called "big potential" should have made more of an impression in the championship than he did, imo

Well we already have Barton, Faurlin and Granero wants to return. That's fine for me. Even Mbia would be better.

Spot on. He was more often than not woeful in the Championship so would be compltetly out of his depth in the prem.

If the option is Granero, who played about 100 times for Madrid in 3 seasons before we signed him, or Carroll... it s no contest!

Nah, wasn't impressed with him over the course of the season. Think we should be aiming for a different type of player for the battle ahead.

If Harry has to satisfy his urge to snap up a current or ex Tottenham midfielder then i would like to see Livermore.

lol - think players like nasri and silvaput a end to lightweight comments.

Cant compare those two to Carroll IMO, both are physically strong despite their small build.

Thought Carroll had a very good season - young and hungry too - seems to provoke a bit of a knee jerk response on here - played 10 times better last year than any of the midfielders from the year before. Lightweight? I'll be laughing if anyone calling him that is backing Granero, a puff of wind knocked him over and my gran could tackly him. I think he will stay at Spurs though.
