Does he have a relegation release?

I think Rhodes would only be interested in going to a Premier team.

Hooper's proved he's not up to prem football, and clearly from this, his attitude stinks. Why would we waste millions on him....???

It's not as if he's a seasoned prem player who's signed for a club only for them to go down and now wants to stay in the league. He's played in a pub league and then been tried in the prem, found wanting, and now he thinks he's suddenly too good for the championship.... well that's clearly his level.

I don't think he prem standard but not sure we can question is attitude simply because he turned us down last season. A year ago who was the better proposition Norwich who were a stable prem league side who liked like securing their prem future or the madness which was QPR he made the right choice for me based on what was presented last season

Said the same before he turned us down last time only scores goals in champ and below and defo not a prem striker, so no thanks whatever the price. Also there is no way we will play two up front and certainly can't play up top on his own, not that sort of player.

Norwich offered him more money, he wanted to go to west ham or us. West ham his preference as he supports them.

personally think its hash to dismiss a striker after 1 year in the prem in a poor team. What if Austin doesnt make the grade this year and struggles to adapt. Is everyone on here going to want to get rid.
The remy comparison is irrelevant as remy is quite clearly a class above and much better than hooper. We were lucky to get him and will be lucky to get anything near him again for a little while.
Im not saying sign hooper as I'd prefer rhodes, deeney but if harry wanted him I'd be more than happy to see him at us. Think the boy knows how to score just needs the right supply.

Not the best example, but look at bale the first season in the prem, was all over the place nearly got palmed of to birmingham. Players take time to adapt sometimes.

Agree with much of that. Wd just say that think he is quite like Austin so not sure we need two of them. Funnily enough I do think there is a fair chance Charlie will be found wanting in the Prem, too - its such a massive step up. But whilst Charlie has earned his right to have a shot at the big time with us, has Hooper? He wd certainly be a lot better than Doyle who we still seem keen on for reasons I don't understand, but not convinced he is the answer to our striker needs.

Hooper rejected us last time we went in for him, should be no going back as far as we're concerned.

spot on mate charlie fully deserves his chance. If we dont get the right people in to feed charlie he will struggle, we just didnt create enough last year. He'll score goals if with the right service. Think hoopers a similar player.
Personally I think there are 2 or 3 better options than hooper out there for us I just wouldnt write him off just yet on one year in the prem. I think harry must quite like him as we did go for him last year.

Austin will get 12 to 15 goals in prem which in first season would be a decent return and he will be worth his weight in gold

why because he went to a prem team over us? Thats not bad attitude or a kick in our teeth thats common sense. MOst of us would prob want to play for a prem team over a championship club if the chance is offered.
This aint me thinking hooper is second coming or anything just think some of the comments are little harsh and over the top.

Where was Hooper when we had no Striker over Xmas? Where was he when we fell out the Auto-Promos when Chas got injured between January and April? Where was he when he was needed? Elsewhere getting relegated.

He aint needed now, we need Prem class not pretenders.

he missed his chance to join us.......he made his bed and should stay and help Norwich stay up...a fairweather player if ever there was one. Hope we give him a swerve this time.
