Almost every time I have seen him he has made a crucial error.

Exactly this 'to much of a gamble'.

And that goes for Rio, Lampard, Lescott, Cole etc etc. Not necessarily on their work ethic or willing to work hard, but mainly on injuries. We're building something very exciting at qpr, not only for now but for the future and the last thing we want to do is take gambles on potentially very expensive players.
      SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Exactly get it right the first time, or should I say second time?

Chairman Tony Fernandes has distanced Queens Park Rangers from a move for Joleon Lescott.

A good sign imo, that we won't be buying the same way we bought 2 years ago.

So what defenders realistically do we think Harry will be after at a decent age and but played for a top team?

              Caulker
              Taylor

Really struggling to think of names.

See hull have offered him a 2 year deal. Can't imagine they will be offering him 80k a week. Good player on a free and decent wage imo. Him and Williams in as cb and we'd be covered at the back.

Sky Sports News sources understand that England international Joleon Lescott is close to finalising personal terms with Hull City on a two-year deal, with an option for a third, after his release from Manchester City.

Don't know how anyone cd be happy that a direct rival will be getting a fantastic player on a free transfer and we will prob end up with a 35-year-old Ferdinand on similar or bigger wages. It will be yet another case of "the one that got away" while we bring in someone less good. Last season or so Hull have been quietly signing the kind of players I might once have hoped Rangers wd go for.

Ferdinand and Lesscott are both the same player.... both on high wages, both looking for a final pay check and they're NOT the players they used to be. No thanks to both of them!!
