Hooper was a failure in the prem and Norwich would want to recoup most of their outlay, so not sure why people are so keen on him.....

As for Commons, he is nothign special either. He went from a decent player in the Championship, to being a stand out in the Scottish Prem.... that says all you need to know about that league rather than the player himself. I dont think he would be that good in the prem and we have better midfielders on our books already.

Someone like Darren Gibson may be worth a look. Not sure if injured or frozen out at Everton, but he was brilliant for them after moving from Utd. If not in Martinez's plans could be up for a move as can control games and has a good shot from midfield.

Pretty sure Derby are in talks to take Thorne on a perm, fee been mentioned about 3-4 million. Bryson won their player of the season so they rate him highly up there, I reckon they would sell for the right money though.
