I've said Argentina for ages. I don't think Brazil are good enough by comparison, and the pressure and weight of expectation will mount on them, but just think Argentina are too strong throughout the side and Messi will come alive in a World Cup.
I'm actually really looking forward to watching England, who for once with no expectation on them may actually relax a bit and play with some freedom, and who knows if they get to the knockout stages anything can happen. Overall, QPR promotion and a respectable England World Cup campaign will be a pretty good summer.....Comment

England. A lot of scrappy wins but we'll do it. If not us then Belgium or Brazil."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0Comment

Backed Belgium e/w a couple of years ago at 50's. decent outside chance. Will probably have a bit on Spain (depending how fit diego costa is)Comment

Whether we do well depends entirely on whether or not Roy is brave enough to use the youngsters properly.
Hart
Johnson Cahill Jagielka Baines
Gerrard Henderson
Lallana Barclay Sterling
Sturridge
is the form 11. He'll start Wazza, but has to have the balls to take him off if it isn't happening.Comment

Costa is shyte for spain. Made his debut a few months ago and was the worst player on the pitch. Doesn't suit the way they play. Needs service, spain try to pass their way into the goal. Should have stayed with Brazil."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0Comment

Gotta be Brazil, doesn't it? Playing at home!
England? Every World Cup people say "England". IMHO the chances that England will win are at best 100-1, so if you don't get at least those odds then don't throw your money away betting on England.
Argentina are my second choice, with the WC being in South America. It is almost bound to be either them or Brazil.
Germany are my third choice, Spain fourth.
England? About tenth. Definitely behind Uruguay, Italy, Holland, Portugal, and possibly Belgium and/or Greece. But ahead of Switzerland and Colombia (both seeded)!'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. Greece!? They only have a few decent players. One of the worst sides (on paper) in this WC imo.Gotta be Brazil, doesn't it? Playing at home!

Going to throw this name out there.......BOSNIA.
Now they won't win it, but I can see them having a good run in the competition.
They will get out of the group with the Argies, Then probably France in first KO round which is winnable although I think France will do well.@chrisrobson9Comment
